In a landmark announcement, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has unveiled a transformative initiative to develop 'Vrindavan Villages' in every development block of Madhya Pradesh. The move, deeply rooted in cultural values and sustainable growth, reaffirms the CM's commitment to rural upliftment through holistic and heritage-driven development.
"Our villages will not only be centers of progress but symbols of our rich cultural identity. Vrindavan Villages will reflect the ideals of Lord Krishna while embracing modern development," said CM Yadav.
Inspired by Krishna’s Vrindavan, Rooted in Rural India
Each development block will witness the transformation of one village into a ‘Vrindavan Village’, inspired by Lord Krishna’s life and teachings. Under CM Yadav’s guidance, these villages will promote:
Cow-centric agriculture and dairying
Medicinal and aromatic plant farming
Solar energy and sustainable practices
Cultural activities, gaushalas, and community-driven development
A district-level committee, led by the Collector, will supervise the execution of this visionary project.
Geeta Bhavans: A Cultural Beacon in Every City
Taking spiritual education to the masses, CM Yadav also announced the establishment of ‘Geeta Bhavans’ in every urban local body of the state. These cultural centers will serve as learning hubs, offering:
Libraries filled with ancient scriptures and modern insights
Reading rooms for senior citizens, youth, and students
Parking and public amenities to encourage community participation
Development Beyond Culture: Industrial and Infrastructure Boost
Alongside the Vrindavan Village plan, CM Yadav’s cabinet approved several key proposals:
New industrial parks in Mohasa-Babai and Sitapur to attract investment
Infrastructure upgrades in cities like Gwalior and Bhind, including overbridge construction
Strengthening of minor forest produce markets, sanitation facilities, and sports infrastructure in rural areas
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s latest initiatives represent a balanced approach to governance — blending spiritual heritage with economic advancement. As the state marches forward, these ‘Vrindavan Villages’ and ‘Geeta Bhavans’ stand as a testament to his belief in “Sabka Saath, Sanskriti ka Vikas”.
